2026 State Team Selectors

We are seeking Expressions of Interest for selectors for our 2026 State Teams.

Selectors will be required to attend the relevant age group Trials and/or State Championships. During these events, selectors will work collaboratively to assess all players and recommend selections for state team squads. Assessments must be conducted in a fair, consistent, and professional manner, ensuring all players are evaluated impartially and without bias.

At State Championships, selectors will also be required to observe the goalkeeper assessment as part of the selection process. In addition, selectors will be expected to provide constructive, objective feedback to all non-selected players to support their ongoing development.

To maintain transparency and avoid potential conflicts of interest, if an applicant is a parent or guardian of a player within a particular age group, we request that they apply to serve as a selector for the opposite gender within that age group.

U14 State Championships - 6 & 7th June - Launceston 

U15 School Sports Australia - National Tournament Dates: 25 – 31 July Melbourne VIC

Boys and Girls trials:     

• Sun 3^rd May from 10am-12pm at THC1 & 2
• Sun 10th May from 10am-12pm at NHC 1 & 2

U12 School Sport Australia - National Tournament Dates: 25 – 30 Oct Newcastle NSW

Boys and Girls trials:       

• Sunday 5th July from 10 - 12pm at NHC 1 & 2
• Sunday 12th July 10am to 12pm THC 1 & 2
