Player nominations are now open for our 2026 Indoor State Teams!

Indoor National Championships will be held across two different states in 2026.

Under 14 and Under 16 Indoor State Teams will be competing in Goulburn, NSW. *Due to these championships being held in Goulburn with limited accommodation,  Hockey Tasmania on this occassion has booked accommodation for each player and one parent. This is an exception to the current state team policy for underage teams. 

Under 18, Under 21, and Open Indoor State Teams will be competing in Canberra, ACT.

*Ages are as of 1st January 2025 

Indoor National Championships Dates

Under 14: 18-22 January, 2026.

Under 16: 13-17 January, 2026.

Under 18: 20-24 January, 2026.

Under 21: 16-19 January, 2026.

Open: 11-15 January, 2026. 

Trial dates will be held on 18/19 October in Hobart (Moonah Sports Complex) and 25/26 October in Burnie (Marist College). Further information will be communicated prior to trials. Saturday 18 October - Moonah Sports Complex

U16 Girls: 1:00pm-3:00pm (Court 2)

U14 Boys: 1:00pm-3:00pm (Court 3)

U14 Girls: 3:00pm-5:00pm (Court 2)

U16 Boys: 3:00pm-5:00pm (Court 3)

Sunday 19 October - Moonah Sports Complex

U18 Women: 9:30am-11:30am (Court 2)

U18 Men: 9:30am-11:30am (Court 3)

U21 & Open Women: 11:30am-1:30pm (Court 3)

U21 & Open Men: 1:30pm-3:30pm (Court 3)

Trial 2:

Saturday 25 October - Marist Regional College

U16 Girls: 11:00am-1:00pm

U18 Girls: 1:00pm-3:00pm

U21 & Open Women: 2:00pm-4:00pm

Sunday 26 October - Marist Regional College

U14 Boys & Girls: 10:00am-12:00pm

U16 Boys: 12:00pm-2:00pm

U18 Boys: 1:00pm-3:00pm

U21 & Open Men: 2:00pm-4:00pm
