2026 Festival of Indoor Hockey - Player Nominations

The Festival of Indoor Hockey will be held at Mowbray Hub on the 17^th and 18^th of October. This event sees teams from all age groups come together for an indoor hockey competition. The festival will also serve as trials to select teams participating in the 2027 Hockey Australia Indoor National Championships

The 2027 Hockey Australia National Indoor Championships will be held at the State Netball and Hockey Centre in Parkville, Victoria. Nominated players will be allocated into teams based on their regions. This is subject to change and dependent on the number of nominations we receive. 

Game fixtures for the festival will be released once nominations have closed. 

Player Eligibility

Players must nominate in their respective age groups and limited to one team only for the following age groups

• U14 (player who is under 14 years of age on 31^st December 2026)
• U16 (player who is under 16 years of age on 31^st December 2026)
• U18 (player who is under 18 years of age on 31^st December 2026)
• U21 (player who is under 21 years of age on 31^st December 2026)
• Open
• Social

National Championship Dates: 

Open & U14: Saturday 9 January – Wednesday 13 January
U21: Thursday 14 January – Sunday 17 January
U16: Thursday 14 January – Monday 18 January
U18: Tuesday 19 January – Friday 22 January

Nomination Fee

Nominating for the festival only - registration fee of $30 (plus fees) covers ground hire for the festival weekend, Nominating for state team selection - registration fee of $50 (plus fees)
