Jack Welch, Josh Beltz and Hayden Beltz have all been selected in the Kookaburras squad for the upcoming FIH Pro League mini-series in the United Kingdom and Belgium, with Australia set to continue its preparations against some of the world’s best nations across Europe next month.
The squad will travel to London for matches from 14–21 June before heading to Wavre, Belgium, for the second stage from 23–28 June, with the tour running from 7–30 June. Lachie Rogers and Magnus McCausland have been named as reserves in the squad.
In addition, seven players have been named in the Australian A squad. Max Larkin, Magnus McCausland, Jack Pritchard, Oscar Pritchard, Lachie Rogers, Oscar Sproule and Ollie Stebbings were all named to a squad that will take on the China senior men's team in Gold Coast from 12-17 June.
The series will allow further exposure and development for a range of players who have been flagged as having the potential to play a strong role for the Kookaburras over the coming years.
