Tasmania Under 18 Teams Begin National Championship Campaign
Published Fri 03 Jul 2026
Some of Tasmania's best emerging hockey talent will take to the field today as the 2026 Hockey Australia Under 18 Championships get underway in Darwin.
The Tasmanian Under 18 Men and Women will both open their campaigns on Friday, with the Women facing Queensland Maroon before the Men take on hosts Northern Territory later in the evening.
The championships bring together the nation's top young players, with both Tasmanian sides looking to make a strong start before taking on South Australia and Victoria across the opening three days of competition.
Hockey Tasmania wishes both teams, along with their coaches, managers and support staff, the very best for the tournament.
