Three Tasmanian's have been included in the Kookaburras Squad for the second block of fixures in the FIH Pro League tournament currently being staged in Hobart, whilst Maddi Brooks has also earned selection in the Hockeyroos squad.
Hayden Beltz will join up with Lachlan Rogers and Jack Welch who were in the squad for the first block of matches that took place last week at the Aurora Energy Tasmanian Hockey Centre.
Rogers made an eye catching international debut in the opening match against Pakistan, showcasing his skills, whilst Welch has been in fine goal scoring touch in the block 1 fixtures. Welch scored goals in consecutive games as the Kookaburras made it four wins from four matches, with a pair of triumphs over Pakistan and Germany leaving them well placed on the table heading into the next block of games.
The match will be Beltz's first appearance in Australian colours on home soil, having played his previous 11 internationals on the road.

Meanwhile Maddi Brooks has been recalled to the Hockeyroos squad having previously missed out on selection in block 1. The 21 year old will be looking to add to her 44 international caps, having previously debuted at just 19 years of age, which also came in her hometown of Hobart back in 2023.
Brooks will be hoping to help turn the fortunes of the Hockeyroos around, having dropped their past 3 matches after an opening night victory over the Irish. Spain and China will be the opposition this time around, with the Hockeyroos to play a pair of games against both sides.

The FIH Pro League action resumes on Friday night at the Aurora Energy Tasmanian Hockey Centre as part of an exciting double header featuring both the Kookaburras and Hockeyroos taking on Spain. The Hockeyroos will be in action from 5:30pm, followed by the Kookaburras at 7:30pm.
Three more double headers will then take place over the next 5 days, with the Hockeyroos taking on China, followed by Kookaburras against India on Sunday afternoon at 3:30pm and 5:30pm.
Monday night will feature another double header against the Spanish at 5:30pm and 7:30pm, before the action concludes on Wednesday night with the Hockeyroos against China at 5:30pm and Kookaburras against India at 7:30pm.
