National Coaching and Officiating Conference
Hockey Australia is bringing the 2026 National Coaching & Officiating Conference to Hobart next month, offering an exciting professional development opportunity for coaches and officials from across the country.
This immersive two-day conference is designed to enhance skills, expand knowledge and inspire leadership at all levels of the game. Whether you are an experienced coach, an official looking to stay ahead of the game, or someone passionate about making a positive impact in hockey, the conference delivers valuable insights, practical learning and the chance to connect with peers from around Australia.
Registration cost: $150
What’s included: Access to all conference sessions, plus entry to both days of FIH Pro League matches — combining professional development with the opportunity to experience world-class international hockey.

Coaching and Officiating Accreditations
To complement the Pro League events, we are planning to run an FIH Level 2 Coaching Course and a Foundation Lead Technical Official (TO) course on 21–22 February.
These courses offer a valuable opportunity for coaches and officials to advance their skills, gain accreditation and continue their development within the sport, all during a period of international hockey in Tasmania. With limited places available and strong interest expected, this is the final opportunity to register your interest.

Final Call for Ball Patrol and General Volunteers
This is the final opportunity to be part of one of the biggest international hockey events ever hosted in Tasmania, with Event Volunteer and Ball Patrol roles still available for the FIH Pro League this February.
Volunteering at the Pro League offers a unique chance to go behind the scenes of a world-class sporting event, support elite international athletes and experience the excitement both on and off the field. From match-day operations to on-field support, volunteers play a vital role in delivering a professional and memorable event.
