The 2026 School Sport Australia 12 and under Championships will be held from the 25th to 30th October in Newcastle NSW.

Athletes eligible to nominate are aged 12 years and under as at 31 December 2026, students must also be at least 10 years old when attending the championship. 

Championship:                   25th to 30th October - Newcastle, NSW

Boys and Girls trials:       

• Sunday 5th July from 10am to 12pm at NHC 1 & 2
• Sunday 12th July 10am to 12pm THC 1 & 2

 Please keep in mind that the timings of these trials are subject to change.

Nominations will close on 21st June 2026. 

Costs for the tournament have not yet been confirmed, when squads are selected and we have a more accurate estimate, we will inform parents & players. Please ensure the email address you provide is correct, as it will be the main avenue of correspondence between you and Hockey Tasmania.
